Welcome to White Knoll Elementary where Leading and Learning Connect!!!

My husband, Allen, and I reside in the Shandon area of Columbia, SC with our three sons Sam (22 years old), Aaron (18 years old), and Will (15 years old). Sam is a senior at the University of South Carolina. Aaron is a freshman at Winthrop University and Will attends Dreher High School and is a sophomore. We have a Labrador Retriever, Meg.

I am a member of Shandon Methodist Church where I enjoy teaching the two year old class. Also, you can find me supporting our local community of educators through the Kappa Delta Alpha Society.

I graduated with a degree in Elementary Education from Winthrop College in Rock Hill, SC. I obtained my Master’s in Educational Administration from the University of South Carolina in Columbia.

I began my professional career teaching seventh grade students at Hopkins Middle school in Richland School District One for two years. Afterwards, I spent seven years teaching second grade students at Webber Elementary in Richland School District One. In 1998, I transferred to Saxe Gotha Elementary in Lexington School District One where I taught first grade students for 6 years. In 2004, I began working as an assistant principal here at White Knoll Elementary.

As, I begin my fifteenth year at WKE, I cannot begin to believe how wonderful my experience has been and how lucky I am to serve this community. If I can help you in any way, I welcome you to contact me anytime at or 821-4505.
